Welcome to Early Years Pre-School and After School Care

As we begin a new school year, we would like to provide everyone with a few reminders regarding procedures. Please note some changes have been made. AM Drop Off Procedure

School opens at 7:30am for Full time children

  1. Morning session Nursery school "Drop off" should be by 8:35am
  2. Please be on time, the class will begin promptly at 8:45 am.
  3. Front Doors will be locked from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 12:15 pm each day.
  4. Please help your child put their slippers on. No shoes will be permitted in the classrooms.
  5. Place your child’s lunchbox on the kitchen counter top.
  6. Remember to "sign in" and "sign out" each day.

12:00 Noon Nursery school dismissal Procedure

When picking up your child, it is very important that you follow this procedure.

  1. At 12:00 Noon, you may proceed in the school, and clear your child’s mailbox.
  2. You must wait in the hallway near the office window. Please, do not enter the lunchroom. Your child will be dismissed to you. For your child’s safety, we need to have complete control of the children while they are in school.

Lunch and Snacks

  1. Please provide your child with a drink, plastic utensils, and napkins for lunch.
  2. Provide an AM and PM snack for your child each day. In case you forget to provide snacks, we will have snacks available at school.

In case your child is absent:

Please call the school to let us know the reason your child is going to be absent. If your child is absent due to a contagious illness, a doctors note will be required for you child to return to school.

Upon returning to school, if your child requires medication, ask the teacher for the Medication/Treatment Authorization Form. We will administer medications as authorized by the doctor.  

Please bring in the following items to school for each child.

Please label all of your child’s items.

  1. A pair of rubber sole slippers for your child to wear in the classroom.
  2. One container of wipes for your child to keep in his/her cubby.
  3. One container of disinfecting wipes for general classroom use.
  4. A change of clothing, in a zipper sealed bag, to be placed in cubby.                                     (Please, Do not use "Backpacks", space is limited.)
  5. A bottle of water placed in your child cubby for emergency purpose.
  6. An old T-Shirt for smock.
